Walking quietly and quickly on the noisy highway dominated by automobiles whizzing by, they continue seeing big factories and industries. High tension wires run parallel to the highway and they could hear the constant drone of volts of electricity zipping past when they had a brief respite from passing automobiles. It is not quite green but there are more open spaces as they leave urbanity. Here and there is a burst of green and that brought them joy. Following the Walk’s usual routine of stopping for tea, breakfast and two or three short breaks, they reached Ranchodrai Dham of Kaniz. This was the halting point for the day. At the dham Sri M was welcomed and he offered prayers at the shrine. In a very brief address, he spoke about Walk of Hope and it’s mission and objective. He spoke about the start of the yatra which left from Kanyakumari on 12th January, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and it’s objective to reach Srinagar in April 2016. He spoke about it’s core message, that religions may be different, ideas may differ, opinions may be there but one should not forget that we are all human beings first and foremost. He said that if remember this and if we live together as One, there will be peace, harmony and India will be strong. The walk ended soon after this. There was no satsang in the evening and they retired for the day after reaching the resting place.
