The walkers spent their time, as they usually do on rest days, doing laundry, replenishing supplies, visiting the city mall, or just catching up on sleep. For some, it was reunion time as many families had come to Nashik for Guru Purnima and they spent time catching up.
Many of the visiting people left Nashik today, going back to their lives. The padayatris, looking back on the 200 plus days of walking, felt each one had evolved and changed in his or her own way. But, the padayatra will slowly return to its original character after these days of frantic activity.
Tomorrow, they leave Nashik and walk towards Trimbakeshwar as they slowly wind their way out of Maharashtra.
