Huddled together for protection from the cold, they had their morning tea. There were at least 500 walkers participating and the formation was about half a kilometer long. The padayatris covered 17 kilometers walking from Shinde to Nashik Road. Walking quietly but fast, they reached Nashik city road. On the way, Sri M and the walkers stopped at Prasad Dhuni, Sinnar Road, Phata. Here, Sri M took the blessings of the 94-year-old Prasadji Maharaj, a community leader and a spiritual guide. Sri M, seated beside Prasadji Maharaj, addressed the gathering very briefly. In the brief address, he thanked Prasadji Maharaj and his team for welcoming him and the padayatra with much warmth. He spoke on Walk of Hope and shared its objective –‘We may belong to different religions, different ideologies but we are all humans first’. He said that he had covered 3000 kilometers along with 60 or 70 padayatris who were walking with him just to spread awareness about this message. He thanked them for organising the resting point and their breakfast. Walking onwards after this break, they entered Nashik city and reached Birla Arogya Mandir, Nashik Road to a warm welcome. Sri M and the padayatris offered prayers and spent a few moments in rest. There was no Satsang in the evening and the padayatris retired again after another short walking day.
