The weather and the land are at their supportive best and the walk everyday is enjoyable. The days are warm, the evenings cool and the nights cooler. River Nira flows close by—around20 kilometers away—and the lands here are green, mostly with sugarcane. There are also many industries in the few towns that they passed through. The dawn and dusk today were not so different from each other, each a million shades of amber and red, and such a spectacle for the walkers. In such a landscape, following the usual set pattern of stops, the yatra reached Lonad half an hour before noon. Taking a short break at Lonad, the walkers proceeded towards their resting place. Reaching the Sri Dutt Mangal Karyalaya of Kalaj, they were assigned to a large hall and some rooms. The accommodation was decent with only washrooms being an issue, as has been the bane in some of the places. There was no Satsang in the evening and the rest of the day was spent at leisure. The marriage and function hall is right next to the highway with nothing else in the immediate vicinity, the closest shop a kilometer away. Many farms surround the hall and a hill can be seen a short distance away. The padayatris wandered here and there while some tested their climbing skills, exploring the nearby hillock. There is a prevailing silence here broken only by passing automobiles.
